Don Vaccaro
Guitar, Vocals and Original Owner and Founder

Started Crash Cadillac in 1979, After coming
off the road with a band called INCOGNITO. A couple of my old guitar students had a band called STAR. And i decided to start a band
with them and incorporated a few of my old friends that i played with years ago. Still needing a name for the band,
On one rehersal my lead singer was in a car accident on the way there and said to us
" i just CRASHed my CADILLAC". WELL WELL WELL.
Began
playing guitar when I was 9 years old, under the direction of
Lee Carroll. Over
the years I have played with numerous bands, Incognito, Landslide, South
57, Triple Play and Donnie & the Dreamers. Many thanks goes out to my lovely wife, Donna, for managing our schedule, sending our weekly e-mails, and being my
personal roadie and much, much more.
Linda Giancarlo
Lead Vocals
Linda is from the West Side of Buffalo, and has performed with her brothers Gene, Roy and Jim, starting as “Live Bate” in the early 1970’s. They were soon joined by others from the neighborhood and went under several titles. Linda was inspired to be a performer by her Uncle Doctor J from The Spice of Life, the BeBops, Solid Grease, Blue Lou and more, and from her Mom and Dad who were very musically talented. Mom performed with her sisters at the Broadway Market and nursing facilities while just a teen, and dad was known as “Hoss” and performed with Cowboy Ed and the Country Drifters, now this is going WAY BACK…but Linda remembers the days…and was always one to please people and loved to do so by performing for over 10 years with her brother Roy as they performed as “Diamond Sound” 1994-2005 (memorializing dad who passed away in 1993) for which they shared a special talent as a brother and sister duo. Linda says she is a lucky woman and has been blessed with her husband Joe, who not only ran the sound, but for being the whole backbone of her profession, her support and her strength. Linda and Joe have three beautiful daughters (and one Bully Boy) and live in Angola where she works as the Village Clerk-Treasurer. Linda and Joe joined Crash Cadillac in October 2005 and say they are honored to be part of so much talent and love for music and people, it is a perfect fit that was meant to be…
